On its platform, YouTube is introducing YouTube emotes, which are emotes in the Twitch style.

The emotes, which are currently themed around gaming, were created by three independent illustrators. The emotes can be used on a variety of channels, but the streaming platform will soon offer additional options to appeal to other communities.

In the chat or comment section, users can use the emotes by clicking the smiling face icon. The YouTube Emotes will appear under the emoji picker option if the user is a member of a channel that provides custom emojis.

In addition, it comes with a pre-installed system that assigns specific names to the icons for auto-complete. Previously, a number of Twitch communities had access to such emotes.
