Google CEO Sundar Pichai Emphasizes Company’s Vision For AI At Annual Developer Conference

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, opened the firm’s annual developer conference by acknowledging the popularity of AI and what the company planned to do with it.
PaLM 2 is an improved version of Google’s Pathways Language Model, abbreviated as PaLM. PaLM 2 is significantly trained on multilingual text, with support for over 100 languages, compared to the original version.
Google has made its AI chatbot available to people in over 180 countries globally. Previously, the chatbot was only available in the United States and the United Kingdom, with a waitlist. Bard, now powered by PaLM 2, will provide more detailed responses and can also assist developers with programming and coding issues, such as code generation and debugging.

During the opening of Google’s annual developer conference, CEO Sundar Pichai addressed the widespread popularity of artificial intelligence (AI) and outlined the company’s plans for harnessing its potential.
