The CEO of tech mammoth Apple, Tim Cook, has said the company will contribute to relief and recovery sweats in Pakistan after the country was devastated by literal cataracts.
Cook, heading the $2.5 trillion company, said the cataracts are” ruinous philanthropic disasters” and added that” our studies” are with those who lost loved bones
and all those affected.
The floods in Pakistan and surrounding areas are devastating humanitarian disasters. Our thoughts are with those that have lost loved ones, the many displaced families, and all those affected. Apple will donate to relief and recovery efforts on the ground.

Torrential rains and flooding have submerged a third of Pakistan and killed further than,100 people, including 380 children as the United Nations appealed for aid on Tuesday for what it described as an” unknown climate catastrophe.”
The country has entered nearly 190 further rain than the 30-time normal in the quarter through August this time, totaling 390.7 millimeters (15.38 elevation). Sindh fiefdom, with a population of 50 million, was hardest hit, getting 466 further rain than the 30- time normal.
Torrential rain has also touched off flash cataracts that have crashed down from northern mountains, destroying structures and islands, and washing down roads and standing and storing crops.
